AURORA, Colo. – The Benson Hotel and Faculty Club, Aurora’s premier luxury boutique hotel, is bringing the magic of the Northern Lights indoors with its limited-time Aurora Borealis Room Package, created in celebration of the Aurora Borealis Festival, Visit Aurora’s signature event returning Friday, Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at High Prairie Park in Painted Prairie. With limited rooms available, the package allows guests to immerse themselves in the wonder of the aurora both at the festival and from the comfort of their accommodations.

The Aurora Borealis Room Package transforms a stay at The Benson Hotel and Faculty Club into a glowing, immersive experience. Guests will enjoy a personal in-room light show that projects waves of green, purple, and blue across the walls, recreating the awe-inspiring natural phenomenon indoors. The package also includes a Signature Hot Toddy Welcome Kit for two, two general admission tickets to the Aurora Borealis Festival (for stays booked now through October 11), discounted valet parking, Lyft credits to and from the festival, and a $50 daily food-and-beverage credit at The Common Good, the hotel’s on-site restaurant serving locally inspired brunch and dinner.

“We are excited to give our guests a way to carry the glow of Aurora’s signature event into their hotel stay,” said Heidi Laursen, Director of Sales and Marketing at The Benson Hotel and Faculty Club. “Whether visiting during the festival or afterward, this package combines luxury hospitality with an extraordinary immersive touch that is uniquely Aurora.”

To extend the celebration beyond the festival weekend, the Aurora Borealis Room Package will remain available for booking after October 11 through January 2026. While festival tickets and Lyft credits to and from the festival will not be included in post-event reservations, guests can still enjoy the dazzling in-room light show, hot toddy welcome kit, and additional amenities that make the experience truly memorable.

“The Aurora Borealis Festival is all about showcasing the creativity and culture that make Aurora such a vibrant destination,” said Bruce Dalton, president and CEO of Visit Aurora. “Partnering with The Benson Hotel and Faculty Club allows us to extend that experience beyond the festival grounds, giving visitors a chance to enjoy the magic of the aurora in a truly immersive and luxurious way. It’s the perfect example of how Aurora is coming together to create memorable experiences for residents and travelers alike.”

Now in its second year, the Aurora Borealis Festival recreates the magic of the Northern Lights using cutting-edge laser technology to illuminate the skies above Aurora. The family-friendly event features dazzling light shows, interactive installations, a silent disco, and an exciting lineup of live performances. Festivalgoers can also explore Aurora’s diverse culinary scene at Westword’s Flavors of Aurora Food Court and shop from local artisans at the Global Gift Bazaar.

Timed-entry tickets range from $17 for general admission to $83 for a VIP experience. For full festival details and ticketing information, visit auroraborealisfestival.com.
