DENVER – Magic of the Jack O’ Lanterns celebrates its fifth year bringing the community together at Hudson Gardens (6115 S Santa Fe Dr., Littleton, CO 80120) to stroll through more than 7,000 unique, hand-carved pumpkins. From Friday, Sept. 19 through Saturday, Nov. 2, 2025, guests of all ages will be able to enjoy an expanded two-hour glowing journey produced by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group that will bring them face-to-face with entertaining pumpkin scenes of favorite characters, a nautical seascape, a pirate ship, dinosaurs, dragons, and much more, all set beneath the autumn night sky.

This year’s event features a redesigned trail known as the Enchanted Hollow Trail, filled with enchanting lighting and spooky witches, newly carved pumpkin designs, and a Halloween-themed inflatable maze add-on. Every 30 minutes, pumpkins across the gardens display a beautiful synchronized light show set to music.

“Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns’ fifth season is introducing even more whimsy and wonderment with the Enchanted Hollow Trail. This milestone year will not only feature a variety of never-before-seen spectacular displays, but it significantly extends the length of the event. This is in addition to the beloved Jack O’Lanterns Trail that has delighted guests since our opening,” said Marissa Kopp, Magic of the Jack O’ Lanterns General Manager. “Both trails are included with your ticket, and you can further elevate your experience with interactive elements, a kid-friendly maze, and some of Fall’s most popular treats and drinks. This is truly a special way to celebrate a magical time of year!”

New for 2025, there will be a dance party area offering the opportunity for Halloween enthusiasts to jam out to their favorite seasonal classics. Attendees can enhance their evening with add-ons, including a DIY S’mores package, 3-D Jack O’Lantern glasses, and the family-friendly inflatable maze. Another exciting addition this year is the Glow Pass, which uses RFID technology, allowing guests an interactive option to become a part of the show itself.

Over the years, the show has featured artistry for everyone, from a Harry Potter display, favorite movie and TV stars, sports icons, to classic paintings such as the Mona Lisa, Starry Night, American Gothic, and The Scream carved into glowing gourds. The enchanting Ferris wheel of pumpkins that towers over the gardens with passenger cars filled with pumpkins is another crowd favorite that guests look forward to each year.

While guests indulge in this magical Halloween landscape, they can also indulge in bites from local food trucks and sip Halloween-inspired alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at bars stationed throughout the event. Merchandise is also available for those who want to bring their experience home with glow-in-the-dark, light-up toys and memorabilia.

This family-friendly event is for all ages and provides a not-so-spooky atmosphere. Another tradition throughout the years has been Thirteenth Floor Entertainment’s partnership with the STAR Institute to provide a low-sensory night for families. This year’s low-sensory night returns on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025 at 7 p.m. and will treat guests to all the same pumpkin delights with special consideration of sensory and sensory-motor differences and challenges taken into account to make the experience accessible and magical for all.

Tickets start at $14.99 for kids and $19.99 for adults on select nights. Children 2 and under will not require a ticket to enter. Tickets can be purchased at magicofthejackolanterns.com and will go on sale starting on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025.

With this year’s newly added features, this Halloween tradition is sure to be an event that sparks the Halloween spirit in everyone throughout Colorado.
