DENVER — Bodies – The Science Within, a globally touring exhibition seen by more than 5 million people in more than 60 cities across Central and South America and Europe, will make its U.S. debut in Denver this spring. The exhibition opens Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the Denver Pavilions and runs for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Bodies – The Science Within invites visitors to see, feel, and understand the human body in a powerful and immersive way through real human specimens that have been carefully and respectfully preserved and presented for educational opportunities. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to explore the intricate systems that sustain life and shape the human experience.

“This exhibition marks an important milestone as Bodies – The Science Within makes its North American debut in Denver,” said Rand Levy, co-producer of Bodies – The Science Within. “We are proud to launch the U.S. tour in a city known for its curiosity, innovation, and cultural energy. This experience invites visitors to explore the human body in a way that is both educational and thought-provoking, offering a deeper understanding of how we live, function, and connect to the world around us.”

Organized as a system-by-system experience, the exhibition examines how the body functions, what it is made of, and how its systems work together. Guests will journey through a series of galleries focused on key biological systems, including respiration, movement, and the nervous system. Displays combine scientific information with visual presentation to help explain complex processes and provide a clearer understanding of human anatomy and physiology. The exhibition also explores how the body responds to stimuli, adapts over time, and how its systems are interconnected.

Designed to reach a broad and diverse audience, Bodies – The Science Within will be presented in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for Denver’s multicultural community.

Recently purchased by the City of Denver’s Downtown Development Authority, the city’s chief projects officer, Bill Mosher, has said he wants to see the Denver Pavilions become “a major anchor and public gathering place in Upper Downtown.” The exhibition is among a series of new attractions expected to draw visitors to downtown Denver as the 16th Street corridor continues its revitalization and the Denver Pavilions evolves as a destination for retail, dining, and entertainment. By bringing a limited-time, immersive experience to the city center, the exhibition is expected to contribute to increased foot traffic and renewed activity in the area.

The limited-time exhibition arrives as the Denver Pavilions continues its evolution as a hub for experiential retail, entertainment, and cultural attractions in the heart of downtown, further activating 16th Street with dynamic, immersive programming.
