Salt Lake City, Utah — The Salt Lake Family Christmas Gift Show returns Thursday, Nov. 12, through Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy, Utah. Now in its 27th year, Utah’s largest holiday market will feature more than 450 booths, Santa’s Village, festive décor, live entertainment, and special holiday activities for the whole family.
With aisles full of gifts, holiday décor, home accessories, stylish apparel, jewelry, toys, artwork, specialty foods, and more, the Salt Lake Family Christmas Gift Show is the perfect place to find something special for everyone on your holiday shopping list. This year, general adult admission tickets are valid for all three days, so guests can return to shop, celebrate, and make memories as often as they like.
Show highlights include:
- Santa’s Village, sponsored by LeafFilter: Visit Santa daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to share wish lists and pose for professional portraits by photographer Tom Haseltine in a beautifully staged holiday setting, perfect for family keepsakes or holiday cards. Portrait packages are available for purchase.
- Colors of the Season, presented by Glover Nursery: New this year, seven vignettes line the main aisle with native-inspired aspens, scrub oak, and seasonal foliage that flow from golden hues to warm oranges and vibrant reds. The display culminates in a Unity Tree centerpiece that celebrates connection, community, and the spirit of the season.
- Holiday Light Tunnel, presented by Trimlight: Stroll beneath thousands of twinkling lights in a 50-foot tunnel built for family photos, holiday selfies, and inspiration for permanent holiday lighting.
- Holly Jolly Welcome: The holiday magic starts at the main entrance, where singers, musicians, and performers from Pop Orchestra Productions greet guests with festive tunes and cheerful energy.
- Holly Jolly Stage, sponsored by Statewide Remodeling: Award-winning local dance troupes, choirs, musicians, and community groups perform throughout the show, along with Storytime with Mrs. Claus and other seasonal surprises. The full stage schedule is available at familychristmasgiftshow.com.
- Jack Frost Nippin’ at Your Windows: A festive art walk features custom windows supplied by Marvin Design Gallery and hand-painted by local artists, including decorative painter Tami Carmody and Park City contemporary painter Anneliese, artist-in-residence at PC Create Space. The finished windows are displayed throughout the show.
- Artists in Action: Talented makers create their work right before guests’ eyes, from ceramics shaped on the wheel to handcrafted jewelry, offering a look at the skill behind each one-of-a-kind piece.
- Trinket Trading: Guests can bring a small handmade, upcycled, or holiday-inspired keepsake to swap with fellow shoppers at the Holly Jolly Stage at 4 p.m. daily. The tradition celebrates the lost art of community gift-giving.
- Utah’s Hogle Zoo: Stop by for festive décor, photos, and a chance to win tickets to the zoo’s own seasonal holiday event.
- Snowman’s Steps: Guests can grab a show guide, find the hidden snowmen tucked into the show’s most festive features, collect secret code words along the way, then head to the Show Desk to claim a sweet holiday treat.
- Gift Wrapping Station, presented by Wasatch Forensic Consulting and Utah Scouts: Let the elves wrap your holiday finds so they are ready to go under the tree.
