Five Designers Will Compete for Two Coveted Spots in Denver Fashion Week’s Fall Season

DENVER – Denver Fashion Week, one of America’s fastest growing fashion platforms, today announced its fall Designer Challenge coming to the Alley at Dairy Block in Downtown Denver on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024 at 8 p.m. Five designers, who have never shown at Denver Fashion Week, will create five looks to showcase on the outdoor runway and go head to head in a competition where the audience and a panel of judges will each select a winner to show their collection in Denver Fashion Week’s Fall season scheduled for November 9 – 17, 2024.

As Colorado’s most prominent fashion event, thousands of attendees show up each year to support Denver’s growing and diverse fashion community. The Designer Challenge, which started in 2021, helps to create opportunities for growing local designers. 

“Denver Fashion Week believes in the power of creativity, innovation and fostering the growth of emerging designers who will inspire and shape the future of fashion,” Nikki Strickler, runway producer of Denver Fashion Week, said. “The Designer Challenge not only showcases the incredible talent within our community but also provides these designers with the opportunity to make their mark on the fashion industry in Denver.”

The five designers participating in the 2024 Fall Designer Challenge, include Grey Walls, Légère, Seintana Couture, Three Eyed Art Collective, and Violet Hues. The fashion show will be emceed by Erica Lopez, entertainment anchor at 9News. The professional panel of judges consists of two Denver Fashion Week lead producers and local designers.

Run-of-Show:
8:00 p.m. – Red carpet cocktail reception with a cash bar
9:00 p.m. – Doors are closed
10:00 p.m. – Fashion show
