Colorado’s Largest Fashion Event Returns for Spring With Eight Days of Fashion Events From May 11 – 19, 2024

DENVER – Denver Fashion Week (DFW), Colorado’s largest fashion event, returns for spring with eight runway shows coming to The Brighton – A NPU Venue in the heart of RiNo’s Art District from Saturday, May 11 through Sunday, May 19, 2024. Spring highlights for the highly anticipated event include the return and expansion of the All-Inclusive Fashion Show, mesmerizing European fashion experience with a runway show featuring international designers from Georgia, a Bridal Show just in time for wedding season, and for the first time – the Denver Fashion Week Awards.

As Colorado’s most prominent fashion event, thousands of attendees show up each year to support Denver’s growing and diverse fashion community. During the spring show, emerging and established local, national, and international designers and boutiques will showcase their collections’ key seasonal styles, enhanced by the work of talented hairstylists, makeup artists and models. Included in the lineup are the winners of DFW’s fourth Emerging Designers Challenge, MOSSD and Valerian Projects.

Saturday, May 11 – Sustainable Fashion Show
Opening night kicks off showcasing eco-friendly fashion trends. The Sustainable runway show is a core value of DFW and a don’t miss night for sustainability enthusiasts, people curious about living a more eco-conscious fashion lifestyle, and fashionista alike. The showcased brands are committed to sustainability and their impressive line of work will not only decorate the runway but leave attendees inspired. Featured sustainable brands including Garms 1 of 1, Christos Furs and Leathers, Flash + Rose, MOONBELLI, TheDenverGinger, HYACINTH, Earthly Threads, Factory Fashion, Valerian Projects, and Canyon Couture.

Sunday, May 12 – All-Inclusive Fashion Show
In the world of fashion, inclusivity and diversity are becoming increasingly important. DFW, in partnership with Guided By Humanity, will shine a spotlight on incredibly talented designers with disabilities, seen and unseen, who are not only breaking barriers but also revolutionizing the industry with their adaptive and universally designed clothing. By embracing universal design principles, they are paving the way for a more inclusive and accessible fashion industry. Featured designs will be from Guided by Humanity’s everyBODY accessible athleisure line, adaptive clothing from No Limbits, one-of-a-kind sustainable pieces designed by Denver artist Quána Madison, and adaptive wear from DEFY Wear, this year’s All Inclusive Fashion show will offer a fresh and innovative approach to the fashion world. There will also be a special performance by guitarist Jeffrey Marshall, a musician who shreds with no arms.

Monday, Nov. 13 – Fashion Model Industry Workshop
Before the official DFW Fall ’24 model auditions scheduled for Sunday, July 14, 2024, DFW model coordinator and runway producer Nikki Strickler will teach a two-hour workshop focused on the fundamentals of walking the runway. Attendees will learn posture, arm placement, hand positions, step and stride, turns and pivots, poses, backstage etiquette, important tips about the modeling industry, and how to prepare for an audition. 

Tuesday, May 14 – Streetwear & Sneakers Fashion Show
From limited edition to trendy streetwear brands, the Streetwear & Sneakers Show has earned the reputation as a must-attend for fashion enthusiasts and sneakerheads alike. Guests are encouraged to wear their best street-style outfit and sneakers while finding fashion inspiration in unique pieces that will define this season’s streetwear style by Sliv Life, Stoked LA. Guiney Design Custom Sneakers, My Generation, Infatue. NTGTLY. JUNK, GORE, MOSSD and Douleur.

Wednesday, May 15 – The Black Sea Fashion Show
The Black Sea Fashion Show, held in partnership with Geo In Style, is set to showcase international designers flying in from Georgia, promising a mesmerizing European Fashion experience. Featured designers include Megi Gabunia, Salle de Mode, SMAKI, Savaneli, SCORPIONS, SOPHIE and LASHA JOKHADZE. 

Thursday, May 16 – Bridal Fashion Show
The Bridal Fashion Show will showcase a range of limited edition and trendy bridal brands, featuring stunning bridal fashion from tuxedos to gowns to reception dresses. This show event is perfect for those who are getting ready to tie the knot or just appreciate the beauty of bridal fashion. Featured brands include Tamara Nasr, SKYEAIRE. Moškem Menswear, Runaway Bridal. Rachel Marie Hurst. D’Lola Couture, Tara Hari and Bête Noire.

Saturday, May 18 – Society Fashion Show
This season’s Society Show will showcase the latest trends in the fashion industry from bold colors to daring prints, to glamorous gowns and one-of-a-kind looks. Featured designers include Santiago, Kit’s Boutique, Mona Lucero, Lilian Lara, Jenn Burback, Kyra Coates, Dani K. Anton LaRosa and Tyne Hall. 

Sunday, May 19 – Kids & Teens Fashion Show
This runway show will showcase some of the best in children’s and teen fashion in Denver from trendy athletic and street wear to elegant evening wear. Featured designers include Dragonwing, Peach and Penny, Factory Fashion, Stoked LA and Anton LaRosa; plus a runway dance performance by Cherry Creek Dance. 

Sunday, May 19 – Denver Fashion Week Awards + Hair Show and 303 Hair Awards
Closing out DFW Spring 2024 is the Hair Show and for the debut of the Denver Fashion Week Awards. The latest hairstyle trends will be featured on the runway by Cult Salon, ElleB Savvy, House of NonTradition. Forma Collective. 3 Little Birds, Origins Salon and Twig Salon. After the show, stay for the first-ever Denver Fashion Week Awards featuring categories such as Designer Of The Year, Female Of The Year, Male Model Of The Year, Kid Model Of The Year, Photographer Of The Year, and more.
